Tour in Guilin China
Day1: Home - Guilin
Take the flight from Home to Guilin. There
is an old saying in China,"Guilin's
scenery dwarfs the rest of the nation",
and the tour in Guilin is sure to leave
you enduring memories. We'll pick you
up at the airport. Check in the Hotel
for an overnight stay. (D)
Day2: Guilin
Today's bicycle tour starts with a visit
to the Seven-Star Park, which contains
Camel Hill with a miniature garden, and
Seven Star Hill whose Seven peaks are
positioned like the stars in the Big Dipper.
The followed exploration in the Red Flute
Cave needs your imagination to follow
the guides' description of the limestone
which is supposed to resemble a giant
goldfish, a Buddha, and assorted vegetables.
And the next scene spot, Elephant Trunk
Hill, resembles an elephant leisurely
sucking water from the river with its
long trunk. Another spot Diecai Hill has
numerous small peaks, all of which have
dreamy names such as Bright Moon, etc.
The hills have many stone carvings of
the Tang Dynasty. Overnight in Guilin.

Day3: Guilin - Yangshuo
Today's excursion is a cruise along the
enchanting scenic Li River. By experiencing
the magical beauty of limestone rock formations
and farmland commonly seen in Chinese
landscape paintings, you will enjoy yourself
in the quiet, pastoral landscapes as a
departure from the complex pragmatic world.
A five-hour Lijiang River Cruise amid
a watercolor fantasyland crowns you full
day tour and finally lead you to the charming
village Yangshuo. which has one of the
best antique and handicraft markets in
China. You can spend some leisure time
in the Yangshuo West Street. This 2000-m-long
street is fully crowed with stores, bars,
cafes and hotels. Nearly all the dwellers,
old and young, in the street can speak
simple English and the street was regarded
as the largest foreign language corner
in China. Return to Guilin.
Day4: Yangshuo
After a breakfast, we will have a guided
bike tour to Moon Hill. The highway from
Guilin turns southward at Yangshuo and
after a couple of kilometers crosses the
Jingbao River. South of this river and
just to the west of the highway is a limestone
pinnacle with a moon-shaped hole penetrating
the hill. Hence it's named Moon Hill.
Then you will go to view the famous tall
Banyan Tree. It is said that the tall
banyan was planted in the Jin Dynasty
and is now famous for its age and towering
beauty. The banyan tree is now 17 meters
high, 7.1 meters around the trunk, and
covers an area of 1000 square meters.
